Title: Tomas Lindberg diagnosis
Post by: Pentagrimes on August 16, 2025, 10:20:23 AM
Awful news for poor Tompa, it sounds bleak tbh. A speedy recovery to the man.

Been reading about it recently hoping he gets through it, it's a difficult fight. One of my gateway bands thanks to one of thee old Terrorizer comps, could've been the orange cover? Anywho, hope the treatment goes well!!!

I read the post they out online earlier today. There seems to be something even more cruel when a singer develops cancer in their mouth.
Obviously there is no good place to get it.
Blinded by fear is one of those tracks that you remember the first time you heard it, when and where etc.

Aye. I can take or leave the vast majority of their stuff but that is a serious tune.

They were one of the first bands I got into as a teenager. Poor man and his family. Cancer is a bastard

Terrible news - he seemed like a good dude by all accounts. I got into a few of his other bands over the years as well as ATG - one of the great metal vocalists for me.

ATG never did anything for me. Close but no cigar on a few occasions. Difear are great though. Met him once without knowing it was him, pretty sure he said he sang in Grotesque when I asked did he play music. Clocked it then. Nice fella.

Nice they got to record one last album with Tomas.
Wonder if they will call it quits as hell be hard to replace in the band.
