Hi lads,
I'm a guitarist based in Dublin looking to start a heavy metal band, wide range of influences but particularly in the vein of traditional and doom metal from the 70s/80s, such as Trouble, Mercyful Fate, Dio-era Rainbow/Sabbath, Candlemass, riffy, melodic, epic etc etc.
I've been working on a demo at home, fairly ropey as it's more of an idea of the style rather than a finished product, I'd rather get a lineup together and work on stuff with a band rather than programming drums!.
Looking for a drummer, bassist and organ player (there will be Jon Lord style organ solos :abbath: ), if interested or if anyone knows someone who may be interested please get in touch.

Nice playing there. With the right musicians, a heavy production, and a powerful singer you'll be winning. I'm hearing some 80s Sabbath in the riffs, which works for me 8)
Cheers, it's one of the more melodic tracks I'm working on but I think it'll contrast nicely with two grittier ones on a demo.
Yeah just about finding the right people I suppose, sure I'll chip away at it myself for now.
