Great announcement. Didn't really know too much about Jarhead when they played here last but love them now. Don't know much about the Body I think it's hipster type stuff?

Fuck. Yes. Fingers crossed for Limerick on the Friday though.

You could see it that way I suppose but they're also one of the heaviest live bands on the planet.

The Body are lethal.  Mad to see them live.  It's a year away but will probably drive up to this, FoH always excellent too.

They played the Grand Social recently for the Dis Fig collab, glad to see them back so soon

Playing in the UK the night before and after. Think it's just Dublin this time.

I had tickets to see Full of Hell with them supporting back in 2020 which ended up being cancelled. Must check out the stuff I don't think I have even heard the collabs with FOH.

Saw them with Dis Fig as well at Roadburn, absolutely unreal. Hellish electronics and Dis Fig is such a great vocal performer.

Ya, that Dis Fig gig was deadly.

They seem to tour with the same bands very regularly

I've never listened to Full of Hell, any recommendations on where to start?

Trumpeting Ecstasy and the last album, Coagulated Bliss are probably their 2 biggest releases. The Broken Sword EP that just came out is probably their most accessible thing. They have a lot of splits and collab albums that all go in quite different directions.

Care to explain what you mean by "hipster" in this context? Genuinely curious.

At a guess, it could be that they're on, or were on, Thrill Jockey and are a heavy band that gets a lot of coverage from 'hipster' media outlets such as Pitchfork. Not saying that's necessarily correct but perhaps that's the perception.

Gotcha. Not really their fault who their music attracts though, and having followed then since the first lp they've developed pretty organically in my book. That word hipster denotes something contrived or ironic to me, and I'd definitely not apply it to them.

Exactly the kinda thing I'd expect a big hipster to say
