Morbific for a tenner at Fibber Magees... Saw them in Copenhagen maybe 2 years ago, they were brilliant
Fuck wouldn't mind seeing them!,someone bring them to Cork!
Cheers lads, myself and Jay from Sacrilegia running this, starting up a new promo venture to get more underground shows going. Wanted to get them to Limerick too but could only swing the Dublin date unfortunately. Not to be missed either way!
Here's the instagram page for the new promo for those interested: https://www.instagram.com/cryfromtheunderground/
Some other ideas in the pipeline and of course want to hit some other venues but we'll see how this one plays out as a first run at it.
Highly recommend checking out Morbific as well for anyone that hasn't, old school Autopsy/Gorguts style DM done right but still fresh: https://open.spotify.com/track/32gRR122ABqX3fj2LzPqtT?si=1ac9df0e7606445d
Nice surprise seeing Morbific announced here, alas it's not a midweek gig while working in Dublin  Love the old school poster :abbath:
Yeah that would be tasty for sure in Cork or Limerick. Next time hopefully.
Best of luck with the venture anyway, I hope it goes well.
Curious to hear Cutthroat. Teenage black thrashers from the Land of Ire according to Darragh. If nothing else is positive to see young blood stepping in to the arena.

Great idea! I've been missing some proper UG events in Dublin for a while now. Launch some FB page as well. Good luck!
Not really familiar with Morbific. They sound good.
Have only listened to the first album but thought it was cool. Probably not enough to but but I'd say it'll be a good buzz live. Fair play to the boys anyway getting ug gigs going.
This is brilliant news.
Is it pay on the door or can I buy tickets in advance?

Thanks mickO)))
Pay on door will be available too unless it miraculously sells out
Any clue of stage times for this? Love to check it out but not if it's some crazy late finish!
I don't believe the gigs downstairs in Fibbers run late, last one I was at was done by 22:30 or so. This is €10 and on a Saturday so they will want it done and dusted to get the "regular" punters in for the "club" night
Thanks - Just released this is actually a month away, not this weekend

Exact stage times not set in stone yet but the bands will run from 19:30-22:30 at the latest, we've to clear off for some other shite that's on afterwards. Punters free to stay at that point but at your own peril
Tickets sorted. The new album is deadly.
is there an age limit of over 18's for this one, mates daughter is 17 and looking to head in. thanks
I think Fibbers have security on the door, never had ID checked but I think I am well past being asked to prove I am over 18 :-X
Arse. Playing another gig the same night, I'd have been there otherwise. Best of luck with it!
This Saturday! Set times as follows:
Doors: 7pm
Cutthroat - 19:30-20:00
Incessant - 20:20-21:00
Morbific - 21:20-22:20

Out of our hands unfortunately, Fibbers will have their own door security that I assume will check IDs where needed, so whatever their usual policy is. If you're in fairly early you might get away with it. Our door/ticket person won't be checking anyway.

Picked the lads up earlier, raring to go tomorrow! We'll be doing tunes upstairs in the front room after the gig til closing for anyone that wants to avoid the wrath of regular Fibbers.
Love to go to this but can't make tonight, hope it goes well.
Just seen some short clips of Cutthroat, sounds really cool.
Cutthroat ripped... Riffs all over the shop and great stage presence. If Morbific itself hadn't been spot on with their take on DM, I'd say the young fellas stole the show yesterday.
Incessant seemed to be having technical issues, but they worked around it really well.
Good to see some fresh blood coming in to the underground. Like my follicles, they are thin on the ground these days.
Morbific were class last night.
I arrived in time for Cutthroat's last song, definitely a band I'll be checking out in the future.
As someone said already, Incessant seemed to have some technical issues.
A great crowd there too.
