Mad that they are headlining the Olympia. In 98 when they played here it was an afternoon gig and myself, my friend and our two birds of the time went in to it. Turned out the gig had moved venue from God knows where to a tiny venue at the top of O'Connell Street, and how we found out where it was on I can't even remember. Can't have been more than 50 people there. There was barely even a stage. It was minuscule. Deadly gig!
Saw The Chisel are supporting them for the German shows fingers crossed they'll get added here.

Was that with Ink & Dagger? Didn't make it to that because of the venue fuckery I the end, but I was dying to see I&D at the time. Never liked Refused then, like them even less now, but id be sickened if I did having to pay that much to see
them now.

I bought the Hurling Abuse tape from Mr. Lawless at that gig. Maybe the Residents demo... 'Your Denise'? Loved that demo back then. I must revisit.
Quicksand supporting for this one
It is too expensive but the addition of Quicksand has convinced me to head along. I don't think this will sell out though - seems to be plenty of tickets available this morning.

Our Demise! Great demo. Residence then followed that demo that up with the Voice of Dissent demo before they re-emerged as 2000 Strong and released a couple of cd EPs.

I never heard the other demo. I saw 2000 Strong live a couple of times but don't think I ever got a recording.
They sold the VOD demo for a pound. Rougher recording than Our Demise and had a few live songs on it as well.
The 2000 Strong stuff should be online. Maybe on the Irish Metal Archives.
