Title: Hexecutor - Where Spirit Withers in its Flesh Constraint
Post by: Black Shepherd Carnage on February 25, 2025, 07:04:54 PM
More incoming magic from Dying Victims. French language blackened thrash (making vox reminiscent of Peste Noire) run through with classic rock/true metal and neo-classical elements. Three tracks available from new album coming end of March, loving them here:

Third track première via Invisible Oranges:

Ah, just saw DV already made a post with info about this in their thread in the Promotional forum, but sure a main forum boost won't do any harm.

Met the lad on the left randomly in Brogan's before Xmas. Turns out he had stayed in my house and we'd gone to a gig in Galway or something back in the days of Into the Void. I remember none of it 😄 Sound head and cool band.

Haha, classic. I know the lad to the right of your forgotten guest, this is his first album with them (lead guitar).

Have their previous release, Beyond Any Human Conception of Knowledge, which I enjoyed so will definitely be getting this.

Nice one BSC. Really digging the 2 tracks I've heard so far, vocals and screams are class and the pace, solos and production are right up my street \m/

That Brogans and Galway story is gas!

"More incoming magic from Dying Victims"

What else would you recommend from them? 320 releases or so, no idea where to start!

Demon Spell and Angel Sword for a start. Just take a dip.

Along with what Open Face recommended, if you haven't checked out MegatonSword, what are you waiting for?  Two other bands on the label with a more traditional hard rock/heavy metal vibe I really like are Freeways and Coultre.

Sexmag, Phantom and Venator with the Hexecutor for me, hoping they will get the new Helm's Deep in too which is a cracker. Maybe a Metal Warfare discount is in order!

Yeah, just following on from the "now playing" thread, stuck this on with low expectations this morning 3 songs in now and I'm very impressed so far. Absolutely not the retro shite I thought it would be.

Aaah do you know what,I think I had them mixed up with that Hexorcist crowd
