As it says on the tin
They were a bucket list band for me but there's been so much shite churned out in the last 15-20 years that I wouldn't even be tempted now.
Rumours of a new album in the works so setlist will probably lean heavy on that.Didn't think there would be an Iriah date seeing as there was only 2 UK dates listed in the original dates that were leaked.A band I've always wanted to see.
Going for definite, haven't seen them live in over a decade, Roger's Arena in Vancouver maybe 2013? They were class then anyway. Deadly.

This would be an issue for me as well. It's not even that I dislike his more recent stuff, it's just that there was so much material released over the last few years, I haven't a clue if it's new NIN stuff or the soundtrack-y thing he does with Atticus Ross. Would love to have caught them up to and including the Fragile. But yeah, a bucket list band for sure so I'll go to this.
Ah jaysus ah jaysus ah jaysus
All over it like a rash wouldn't begin to describe how all over it like a rash I am.
Wait, no, that perfectly describes it actually.
Changing my holiday plans and all not missing under any circumstances like fuck that for a game of soldiers. The family will just have to accept whatever lies I tell them to delay the trip and the extra few hundred cost and I'll have to get that in and make on I know nothing about the gig that just happens to be on when I'm meant to be gone away but it got unexpectedly delayed
Anyway his voice is shot for anything before With Teeth so there won't be another chance I reckon. If you look at any live stuff from the last tour, it's poor oul Robin Finck doing a lot of the vocal heavy lifting on the old stuff

I hope ta fuck that all that twinkly soundtrack bgm shit is kept absolutely separate from any of the real stuff
Yep I'll go to lost contact in the 2000s but as you said bucket list
My heart says yes, but alas my wallet says "get fucked". One band I've always wanted to see but never have and the likelihood of having the spare cash for this is slim to none.
Fuck it, I know it'll be silly money but it's rare enough I get to gigs these days. Have to go to this. I couldn't give a fuck for anything post Fragile but I'll hold out hope for a Downward Spiral-heavy set.

Prices aren't excessive really, but I suppose this dynamic pricing thing will dictate things to an extent?

Id there dynamic pricing involved?
dunno tbh. Not sure exactly how it works but I think the artist has to buy into it first, then I suppose it's dictated according to demand etc. I would have thought it's more of an issue for big arena tours. NIN are undoubtedly popular but not at that level. If the price range is €47 to €92, I don't think that's particularly excessive for a gig of that scale.
I feel like nin will find it tougher than the likes of Pantera to fill the 3 arena. Well I fucking hope so, so I don't have to pay a bloody fortune for the tickets

I was less excited for my first ride.
Then again, he looked like shit at the time so I suppose that's somewhat mitigating
They were brilliant in Marlay Park in 2007 and wiped the floor with the Foo Fighters (although I'm sure the drunk teenagers who were there would have disagreed). I wouldn't mind seeing them again but getting tickets will be a ballache.

I was just looking on setlist FM to see how many times they've played here. Four, I think?
SFX 94, Marlay Park 2007, Oxygen 2009, Belfast 2013.

Can't help be sceptical and think that like Coldplay etc the 47euro tickets simply don't exist. We'll see now when and if I get through the queue
nabbed 2 standing for 75 from that "presale" that isn't a presale  probably will never* get a chance to see em again so ticking off the list
2 standing nabbbed

Absolute ticketmaster app shit show, so I wont be seeing them. Got my place in the queue, got two tickets, wouldnt connect to aib or paypal to finish the payment, lost my tickets, and then went back in to find it sold out.
Gutted.Never seen them. likely never will.
Yeah got standing, not too bad
@pentagrimes
Still Loads of Standing
Yep, got back in, got 2 in the cheap seats after all..phew.
Got in straight away and got standing tickets too. Seems like there is loads of seated left still.
Got a standing ticket, I have seen them a few times now, always put on a decent show, he even plays The Perfect Drug live now (not a lot but he does play it).
There will be no How To Destroy Angels in the set (sadly, would love to see them live) and the OST stuff, if it appears, will merely be interstitial music between songs.
I may have also picked up a Paris ticket, I can just work from that office so no need to take time off.
Jayzus I got mine at 4 and seen no sign of standing tickets, kinda slept on it
I could only get seating at the farthest possible seats away from the stage. Bit fried about that bit also pure elected that I got any at all. Can't fucking wait
Been a mental few days and completely forgot tickets were on sale today. Sickened.
Hopefully can grab a standing ticket before June...
Forgot this were out this week also but managed to pick some up last night.
Begrudge Ticketbastard... but paid over the odds for a seated ticket in Block M.
Ah well!
Boys Noize added as support for all dates.I owe my ears an apology for checking them out.

Almost every time I read about NIN going on tour they seem to bring pure shit support. In fact most times I read about reznor going on about some new bands they turn out shit as well. Maybe he just has bad taste in music.

"I'll just add another analog synth part Trent while you're counting your Apple Music board quarterly bonus"
They actually did an interview to that effect where reznor was saying he'd come up with some little bit of a thing, head off out for an hour and come back and Ross would have made a tune out of it for the soundtracks. Was only reading that one a few days ago
I'm 99.9 percent selling a seated ticket for this for face value if anyone wants one before I lash it back up on ticketmaster.
Also selling a seated ticket. Can't resell on Ticketmaster as it was a resell to begin with.
PM if interested :)
Toutless.com is also a good spot for buying and selling tickets. Nothing above face value.
I'll probably end up giving mine away in the end if there's a ball of spares going. I'll see if anyone I know wants it but who I was going with won't be going now
Anyone have any idea of potential stage times for this? Cheers!!!

Really hoping/fantasising that we'll get 'the downward spiral' in full
Mate selling a ticket for 65e if anyone is looking.
DME and 3Arena confirmed NIN should be in stat stage at 20:00! Early start, hopefully long set
Jesus lads I'm actually beside myself with delight heading to this

On the bus up now. Anyone know what band they have? There is a set with pino palladino on bass on YouTube, sounded pretty fucking good. Assume they have the same lad on guitar, he's a staple at this point

ah, makes sense, no idea he he/they are. Seemed like they mostly did remixes of nin tracks, nice idea, if it was combichrist or hocico or something. Still, didn't take away from the rest of it

Another half hour of Reptile on repeat.
They did about 90min, but I don't think anyone would have complained if they went a bit longer. The mini stage intervals felt like breathers, and they still barely scratched the fragile, nevermind with teeth or year zero, which I still rate. Always leave em wanting more, I guess

It seemed alot busier then pantera, as an example. Maybe that's just me. Was way better value, with all the visuals etc
I was worried about 3 minutes into the gig ;D
First time seeing NIN live, they were brilliant, great sound and the visuals were spectacular.
Very enjoyable gig and plenty of downward stuff.
The two stages were cool too.

Likewise.Thought it was going to be some unplugged style performance.
Yeah great gig, everyone liking at thrcstage and Trentham pops up on the piano beside us in the middle of the floor. Last half hour was unreal, 20 songs not too shabby
Amazing gig, didn't expect it to be so heavy on Spiral. Hadn't seen them before and I don't go to a lot of big gigs like that but the visuals and presentation was fantastic.
In true Grimes fashion, my daughter complained to me after that they didn't play enough of the early stuff  (she's a big fan of PHM)
Stonking set with a How To Destroy Angels cover, happy with that ;D
That stage show is as good as you are ever likely to see- absolutely unreal. Wouldn't be my cup of tea musically but a great experience and would definitely go see them again on the strength of the visuals :-*
Boyz Noise - yeah...no ::) The songs weren't actually that bad, just got nothing from listening to what sounded like a spotify setlist playing throughout the 3Arena but as I said, bit of a cop out for a proper support + I'd take a longer NIN set any day.
First 5 minutes I was thinking oh shit Trent has brought Atticus Ross along for a contrived, Billy Corgan type pretentious 2 hours of unplugged nonsense - but thankfully after that medley we got into the proper stuff and yes - all good after that - as everyone is saying amazing visuals, some of the best at a gig I've seen, decent setlist (and I'd agree some Pretty Hate Machine would have worked well with the setup they had like Sin/Terrible Lie).
One of the better "big" gigs. Definitely would have enjoyed another 20-30 minutes, think most people were expecting an encore
So overwhelmingly positive reports all round? Annoyed with myself that I passed up an opportunity to see this, especially given that last minute tickets were on offer here. Was working yesterday afternoon, didn't finish until 7pm, absolutely knackered and the prospect of a train into town didn't fill me with enthusiasm!
I'd have liked some more Pretty Hate Machine stuff but can't really complain.20 tracks and one of the best stage set ups I've ever seen.It was definitely worth the wait to see them.
Savage stuff. Setup was class, setlist was great, performance was unreal, high energy, crowd was good form where I was. I enjoyed Boys Noize too and loved the little stage B setup where they did the three songs with him. No complaints at all, excellent gig. Was up nice and close until around Mr Self Destruct, we went back out of the way then. Thought the set was a good length and a great variety of material in there.
Actually the visuals during Copy of a were excellent
Some great footage of Reptile and Copy Of A
That was one savage gig. Great set list and the visuals were stellar.

Yeah absolutely insane price but the same merch is on the NIN website for about half that. Merch cuts I suppose. Rancid practice.
Yeah i stopped the merch stand this time , looking at it there it looks a little dull anyway
Those were the prices, I think a rain poncho was €20 ::)
There was also nothing interesting about a single piece of merch or something not just a hoodie or t-shirt, not even a poster or piece of vinyl in sight
Does the 3 Arena not take a percentage of merch? It might explain the prices at shows there. Great gig, merch was a rip off though.
