Catching up with this one ahead of the shows next month, I think it's feckin great. Nothing on it in particular that could stand out as being innovative but it ticks a lot of boxes for me, songs are well crafted with some epic moments. I'm looking forward to the gig next month, thought they were done sound wise at the Emperor gig, 'twas all bass.
I was very late to it too, it only arrived last week and well impressed. Hadn't bought their last couple either.
These lads churn them out, anyone pick up The Unyielding Season?
I've heard bits of this and it's just so boring.
I've read with this band in the past and it feels like it's beige.
Don't hate it, don't love it just nothing.
A band Ive never heard - whats their best album?
I checked out their PL cover of Enchantment (which is a perfect song) - decent if pretty identical version.
I recommend Ghost of Heritage & Divination of Antiquity from the earlier stuff. But I really thought the last one The Imperious Horozon was really good, maybe start there?

I have the new one on the list to buy having gave it a go online, thought the last one was very good ,prior to that I didn't give them much time, I remember reading someone describe them as looking like a bunch of middle managers and that stuck in my brain over the years but I'm on board now I'd have to say.
I liked all their stuff. I think i love the Mercian Sphere the best. The Threnody of Triumph is also great.
A Valley Thick With Oaks is an incredible song. They did it live in Opium, Dublin about 3 or 4 years ago and it was perfect.
Yeah never got the hate for these guys, saw them in Dolans last year with Alan Averill guesting . Thought they were excellent and their last album was very good.
