Well I've a ticket sorted. I'm sure it will be the stupidest thing ever and I'm looking forward to it.
Anyone else stupid enough to turn up?
Don't have a ticket but I've heard a few people say they were class at Belfast a few months ago
If I can pick up a cheap ticket closer to the time I'll head along. Saw that there's something like five or six support acts, haven't a fucking clue who any of them are

I only read the names but I've never heard of any of them and they all sound like they are solo rap acts. Seeing as I've never seen any live rap before, I might try catch one, but it'll more likely be spoonies while that's going on
Dunno if it's dynamic pricing till tomorrow but sort of fuck em if it is
Was at the Belfast show earlier in the year. Kinda skipped passed them when I was younger but even without the nostalgia factor it was a great gig Songs sounded great, crowd was great craic and they put on a proper show. One of the best gigs of the year and I've knocked off a few bucket list bands
Mate of mine saw em at download in the summer and said they were great and he wouldn't be a fan at all either
Is the standing sold because of presale nonsense?
Just bought a standing ticket myself
Nearly 100 quid for a standing ticket for a Tuesday gig. Get fucked, seriously.
LOL, I was at their Olympia show about 14 years ago. Think Metalireland was still alive back then, I'll say it again - hilarious the amount of Kvlt characters that were at it because of a "girlfriend" or "Child" or "free ticket became available"

"I was wearing my Sarcofago INRI shirt though to protect my kvlt powers" Gets all the official Adidas Korn gear for Xmas😂
Not a fan of Limp Bizkit aside from a riff or two but they seem to be a decent bunch of lads.
Standing ticket available if anybody is looking for one.. I bought a resale ticket thinking I could get off work but it turns out I can't & apparently because it was bought as a resell, I can't resell it myself on TM which is stupid, I can transfer though.
Any takers, no?!.. 50 quid, I paid €96!
Any stage times for this? Got a ticket last minute and don't know any of the support.
Doesnt seem to be times on any of the socials, but the last couple of shows I've been to in the 3 arena the headliner has always come on around 9.15/9.30 so I'm assuming it'll be the same.
Sold my ticket this morning. Mate that was giving me a lift pulled out because his mother isn't well so I guess it just wasn't meant to be

I wonder if you bought my one?
Maybe McGregor bought it. Mate of mine that is going to this sent me a screen shot last night from his instagram that has him saying he's gonna break jaws in the mosh pit. Fred Durst and the lads have also been invited to his pub after it.
Quotehim saying he's gonna break jaws in the mosh pit.
What a spa
I'd say he wants to get some Woodstock 99 vibes going

Glad I didn't go now. Surely there's some fucker will plant him one or have a go at least
Quote from: Blankety Blank on March 11, 2025, 02:00:10 PMI'd say he wants to get some Woodstock 99 vibes going
Halfway there with the rape charge anyway
What's the worst thing you could possibly do to a fella who's bigger/stronger than you at a gig...piss on his pants, give him a wedgie, put your finger up his arsehole... I'd like someone to do that to him.
Chokehold. He'd be tapping out but there's no ref in the moshpit like.
I'm actually still sorry I missed it. I'm actually thick enough to think the Bizkit would be right craic live and it's only that the mate wasn't feeling it that I let it go

The videos I've seen from the Glasgow gig do look like savage craic!
.
Gig was not great, every song turned into a 10 minute noodle while Fred talked shit. Nothing played off 3 dollar bill bar faith, which is a cover. Played break stuff twice. When fred pointed out that McGregor was in attendance, he got booed out of it, which was funny.
Ack, I thought it was amazeballs. Would've liked a song off Gold Cobra, though. The entire floor was jumping and random mosh pits would break out at the back.

Brilliant.
I see it reported in the papers about the booing of McGregor. I'd say it fairly deflated his ego. That combined with the fact that they didn't play his fave tune Rape Stuff, I'd say he had a disappointing night
Looking at the most of the setlist being from the only album of theirs that I don't like at all, I don't feel so bad about it now. Nothing from Still Sucks either, which would have disappointed me, and nothing from The Unquestionable Truth, which I absolutely love. Would, of course, have loved to go but it didn't work out and I'm coping here.
BONES was class. Delighted to have seen him live. He is fuckin deadly.
Limp Bizkit was pure nostalgia and good to get to see them and tick them off the list of.
It was great to hear the crowd react so negativity when Fred Durst mentioned that rapists name.
Was it a full house?
My resale ticket went at full price after a few minutes so standing was gone at the very least
I saw about 19 diff vids of the same bit of Break Stuff and it looked like it was heaving.
I'm genuinely surprised that they could still draw a crowd after all these years, goes to show you or I'm possibly out of touch.
People would pay €75.95 + booking fee to go to the opening of an envelope these days.

I regularly listen to them even now. Last album was very good

Twas 93 quid so it was, thank fuck I got it back
It was heaving in fairness, it was a good gig for people watching, I'd say there was a fair few at it that experienced their first mosh pit. Bones was my first hip hop/ rap show, I had no idea what was going on. n8noface was proper baffling, Wesley Willis levels of outsider art

I really loved Gold Cobra. Lots of absolute bangers on it. I'm really not sure why it isn't more popular. They could've played at least a couple off it.

I'd be very fond of Gold Cobra myself. They really only did anything off 2 albums which is mad. There's even a couple of decent ones on Results May Vary and Still Sucks and as i mentioned, The Unquestionable Truth, and even the debut, and they didn't touch them. Mad setlist when I think of it like that
I gave Gold Cobra 1 listen when it came out and never felt the urge to listen to it again. It's been what, 15 years now? Might give it another gander.
Couple of good tracks off the new album, one or two absolute stinkers though, one slow or clean song with Fred singing (can't remember the name) was one I'd never like to hear again.
I'm surprised they didn't at least play Dad Vibes, that's good craic!
Gold Cobra is indeed a cool album but they took aeons to put it out - that kind of thing had it's 15 minutes by then.
I would've loved that setlist, never cared much for 3 Dollar Bill, and by the time Results May Vary came out I'd moved on from nu metal so I only ever really listened to those two albums
Must give those later albums a go now and see what they're like

Just put on The Unquestionable Truth and be pleasantly surprised. They actually turn into deftones for the latter half of the first track
