Title: Nomadic Rituals - Sludge/Doom Metal
Post by: nomadic-rituals on September 27, 2024, 09:51:28 PM
Hey! How's it going? Haven't really been on here in ages, so just jumping in to start a Nomadic Rituals (https://nomadicrituals.bandcamp.com/) (NI Sludge Doom Metal) thread. Check us out if you've never heard us :D

Starting off, we are pimpin out some new merch. We have started a hoodies preorder featuring a gnarly backprint by Richard Carson of Unyielding Love. Pullover and zipups available. There's also new tshirts and loads of music on Vinyl and CD. Bandcamp Merch Link (https://nomadicrituals.bandcamp.com/merch)

Further news, we have been working on our 4th album. It's away off getting mastered at the moment so hopefully we will have a new album for you all quite soon. Album title is Fust. 6 tracks of heavy sludge and sonic doom clocking in at 45 minutes. Very excited to get this out, will keep you all informed  :)

Good stuff, Tides is one of my favourite Irish albums (the previous two are also mighty) so I'm looking forward to this.

I have a track off Tides on here this minute and it's great. Some heft to it.

Quoting this because I went in off ochoill recommending it

The new track is seriously heavy chongo, an unexpected Godflesh sound to it. Nice.

Getting hints of Yob off this that weren't there in yer previous work, a bit of a tighter sound.

Excellent stuff, as usual. Hopefully this doesn't remain so underrated.

Came through the letterbox an hour ago, will give it a spin later. The two preview tracks were mighty so I'm really looking forward to blasting the full album.

Hoping to make it up to the Marina Market Record Fair next week to pick up a copy from Rodge.
He's usually set up at these so hopefully he'll be there.

He's laid up with a bad back at the moment so I wouldn't count on it.

Yet to listen to this as I'm having issues with my hearing, annoying but I'll get to it.

I've had a perforated eardrum to deal with for the last while so haven't been able to give this a listen until now. Fuckin' hell lads, it's mighty stuff. Different, more aggressive, bigger sound I reckon...
