I wouldn't mind seeing Crowbar but judging by any recent videos I've seen, Barney's live vocals are so shit that I wouldn't cross the road to see Napalm.
What a line-up. Can't wait for this. I wonder what length a Full of Hell support set would be given that they only play for 40 mins when they headline shows.
The last FOH, Napalm and Crowbar shows here were great.
Great lineup. Never been a huge Crowbar fan but they're a band I feel I should see. Deadly buzz.
That's a savage line up. More money gone.
Great but ffs a Tuesday?
Great lineup for this but I'm not too sure if I'll head. Have seen everyone at least twice except for Brat so I decide closer to the date if I fancy the trip to Dublin for it.
Never mind Crowbar, can the stage take the weight of Brat's drummer?
Sounds good. Two weeks to go

That's going to be a challenge!

I think this show has a low ticket warning.
This is passing through Bordeaux next week so I think I'll head along. Been the guts of 20 years since I last saw ND live.
Nice one for the heads up mickO))) I nearly left it too late! As I was going through the process I was getting warnings to hurry the feck up as it was selling quickly.
ND always deliver :abbath: a 20 year gap is far too long BSC, do it.

Having seen both ND and FoH within the last two years here I can safely say you're in for a great gig.
I don't know Full of Hell at all at all.

You could start anywhere really but here is grand: https://fullofhell.bandcamp.com/album/trumpeting-ecstasy
Really hyped for this one. Crowbar only clicked with me last summer, having had Sonic Excess for 20+ years. All it took was night-after-night bottle feeds with a newborn to have it all fall into place. Why didn't I think of it sooner?!
Big lineup, be interested in set times whenever they're available.
dmepromotions SOLD OUT Doors 6pm
@brat_band 6.30
@fullofhell 7.20
@crowbarmusic 8.20
@theofficialnapalmdeath 9.25 (subject to change)
I seen NAPALM twice in one year. The last being in the 3 Arena which was was mental. They did not suit such a large venue, didn't help how poor the attendance was. The sound was so boomy.
Excited for this one - been bingeing Crowbar recently as they're just one of those bands I somehow managed to neglect in the 90s. Bad miss on my part.
Don't think I've Napalm Death in ten years - supporting Obituary/Carcass in Vicar St maybe.
Always missed Full of Hell but was really into Trumpeting Ecstasy when it came out.
Big fan of all 3 but probably looking forward to Napalm the least and can't choose between FOH and Crowbar. Really enjoying the new FOH especially Chemical and Schizoid will pick it up tonight if they have the LP and hopefully Crowbar have some decent shirts.
Every good Crowbar shirt I've ever seen has been ruined by a desperate backprint.
I had a killer Lifesblood t shirt but it disappeared in a move at some point over the years.
The fate of many a shirt unfortunately.
One of my friends at this gig messaged me to day the merch is a bit shit.
Crowbar had this on their Facebook page earlier:

The longsleeve is alright, don't really wear longsleeves anymore though.
I went for the time heals nothing LS it was the only thing that had no back print and it's one their best album covers. A bit mad that they had an Irish shirt with their only being one Irish date on the tour I can't imagine they sold many.
Didn't spot that that was an LS, how much?
€40 for LS and SS shirts were €30. Same price from all the bands. Not surprising as the Academy is another venue that demands a cut of whatever merch is sold.
Whopper gig - like these line-ups with a bit of a change of pace between the bands. In general, I thought it sounded really good for everyone. Apart from Brat, that was just too early for me to make.
Definitely will try to catch Full of Hell again whenever they come back - the vocals were sick, enjoyed the weirdo dry humour as well. Who was the guy who sang one of the tunes with them?
Crowbar were deadly. Planets Collide was epic and I was really impressed with Kirk Windstein - he has one of those voices that just sounds absolutely knackered but still delivers somehow. I've seen some interviews with him where he's full on talking about himself as a doddery old man but as he said himself, the band were really tight and were heavy as fuck.
Napalm Death - does exactly what you expect, in a good way. There's always tunes I'd want to hear but I was happy enough with that.

Not too bad, compared to the 3 Arena anyway.
You'd pay more if you bought online, by the time you got them posted out.
Feck sake, my post disappeared...
Basically ND rocked as ever, Barney is some live wire. Totally different set to last time, and the lost hat banter was good fun.
Their tees were €25 but their business model is a pile of shit limiting shirts sold every night to keep for future gigs, rather than arranging reprints as they go around if needed.
Unfamiliar with Crowbar. I thought the sound was ropey for the first 2 tracks and I fecked off to the Green Room for early era earache tunes and a seat to rest the bones.
Full of Hell were on fire, the drummer was savage. Best I've seen them as sound was poor and overbearing previously.
Missed / avoided Brat due to a video seen here, but apparently there were vocal issues so Barney and the FOH singer helped out for a few tracks.
Great gig anyway, roll on River of Nihil and Cynic tomorrow :abbath:

Yeah and at least the majority of the money will go directly to Kirk.

Do you mean the guy that came out during Amber Mote? No idea who he is at first I thought he was in Brat so I looked them up and he wasn't a member. I think he might be in of those Northern bands like the Crawling or something because Dylan mentioned something about one of those NI bands a few minutes before your man came on stage. Maybe it's someone that supported them here previously and they kept in contact.
I didn't find the sound great tonight. The volume felt very low for Full Of Hell. It did improve for Crowbar and Napalm. All 3 bands were great but I think the Napalm set could have been a bit better. He did mention they completely changed it since the last tour it was more like they changed 70% of it. I really have no interest in hearing songs like Cold Forgiveness live and I wish they would drop the Nazi Punks cover because who goes to see a band like ND who have 17 studio albums and they want to hear them do a cover. I had to have easily seen ND 15 - 20 times at this stage and they have played that cover at every show. Same with Biohazrd doing that Bad Religion cover I would much prefer an original song instead.
It was great to hear The World Keeps Turning and I think tonight was the first time I have seen them play that live.
I'd say it was Richard from Unyielding Love. They toured with FoH before.
I just looked him up and yep that's who it was.
Thought I'd catch at least some of FOH,but no dice. Just saw the stage being cleared as they finished.
Got stood up on the balcony to the right just at the speakers, perfect view.
Crowbar were savage. It's something that shouldn't really work,the riffs are as basic as basic gets, but it's all about the execution. Laughed at the single pedal Kirk had - a tuner - relative to the big board I saw coming off after FOH. When the tour was announced first, I thought it was co-headline, so was a bit disappointed when I saw the set online a few weeks ago. Would have enjoyed more off Sonic... A lot of that is on me, I could have seen them countless times over the years. Loved it.
Napalm do as Napalm do. The new albums always get rotation for a week on release, but bar The Code... I never end up going back really. All that stuff sounds lethal live. Great set and a great gig.
Saw a few spinkicks in the pits, I know that's a thing that could happen for both Crowbar and ND in the USA depending on their audience, but it went down like a total lead balloon in last night ;D
