Was checking online how to clean scratchy guitar pots and stereo volume knobs. The videos I watched recommended DeoxIT contact cleaner. My local shop only sells Holts contact cleaner.
Is one better suited for the job than the other? What do yous use for you guitars and such?
I've been using super10.
But if I have regular problems with a pot I'll just change it out.
Cheers, got a bottle of Holts in the end because that's what the local had in stock. Haven't tried it on the guitar yet but it's worked fine on the speaker knob.
Kontakt Super 10 here too. Deoxit is more common in the US.
