Nice one. They were great in 2022.
Nice one, this year is absolutely ridiculous for the amount of great bands coming over
Been years since I caught them live now,one of my favourite bands from the early 2000s.Will be up in Dublin that day for the Ireland v England game,do will see if i can squeeze this in.
Excellent, last time i saw them was 2011 or 2013, can't recall which one.
They were very good.
Going to this for sure
Ugh, opium though. Not really a fan of the venue

Is this the former Voodoo Lounge?
Its the Village,i haven't been since its Opium, but i think its condensed down since the Village days?.Like is it that bad?,outside of the location of the jax it was a good venue!.
Oooohhh okay, that's not too bad, actually saw Nile there (with Dying Fetus) in 2005.
Saw Vektor in the Voodoo (I'm a country bumpkin, so whatever that venue is called) touring Terminal Redux and the sound was cat.
It is exactly the same as the village it hasn't changed except maybe for a sound desk being in the middle of the standing area on the bottom floor I can't remember if that was always there? If only it was the Voodoo Lounge that was one of the best venues in Dublin the Village / Opium is one of the worst. In saying that the sound for bands is usually good it just has a horrible layout.
I find the sound gets muddy if you get stuck at the back or go for a pint which is at the back.
Great new albums. Less than two weeks, can't wait
Enjoying the new Nile album, should be a cracker gig alright.
Be nice if the new album is available at the show.

Belfast is always later.

Pestifer - technical DM from Belgium

Intrepid - something in a vein of early 90's OSDM (Estonia)

Can't believe this hasn't sold out. Come on lads ffs.
Looking forward to this later
Really? They were only here.
Love Nile and all but seeing them recently means I don't need to see them for another while - I'm sure it's the same for most. Lots of choice at the minute which is great.
Other obligations prevent me from going unfortunately... some people are just so selfish planning stupid shit on gig nights
Satan tomorrow though :abbath:
Choice was there in the earlier half of the year not a lot of good stuff on now. Can't wait to see Nile again.

I don't think Nile have ever sold out a show here and last time Krisiun was supporting. But they always get a really good turnout in Ireland.
Anyone know why Nile's set was cut short last night? Very disappointing they didn't even play for 50mins.

They finished up at 9.45 then spent about 10 mins bowing and shaking hands with people. According to the Belfast times they are suppose to be playing for 1hr and 15 mins and if you look at the setlists from the previous shows on this tour last night they cut
Long Shadows of Dread
Chapter for Not Being Hung Upside Down...
Annihilation of the Wicked
Everything they played last night they played at those other shows so it's not as if we got songs that other shows didn't
Annihilation alone is nearly a 10 minute track.
Good line-up, it wasn't just about Nile. Pestifer impressed me a lot, although they could have had a bit cleaner sound (it applies to Intrepid as well). The singer had an interesting shirt ;)

Pretty good selection of merch. Didn't have the new Nile album though.
FYI they were only accepting cash for the merch (no electronic payments) in Dublin so possibly the same in Belfast tonight.

They had photos of it up somewhere on facebook or one of those but I can't find it now. 5 shirts and one female tank top. One of the shirts is the snakeskin logo.
Cheers lads and thanks for the heads up about the cash only payments
