Mortiferum the big draw here for me!,Wolves are great live too!
Same here, VERY excited about seeing Mortiferum on these shores
Great buzz - Limerick (and Dublin).
Shit buzz - it's a Tuesday (and Wednesday).
Nice one. Will def head along for Mortiferum.
Not familiar with Mortiferum, wouldn't have minded seeing the other two in the past, was big into WITTR for a long time.
Another vote for Mortiferum. Saw them touring Disgorged in 2019 supporting Antimo's from Disgorge current band. They were great live.
Is Antimo's cureent band not Reverence to Paroxysm?
Not sure to be honest I saw him playing with Hacavitz who as far as I know are still active.
Never heard of Mortiferum!
Loved the first two WITTR. A live gig of theirs I caught in Manchester in 2010 was phenomenal. Totally stripped back, low/no stage, lights almost fully out, great atmosphere. Lost track since. Maybe I'll hit Dublin or Limerick for a look...
This is fucking exceptional news. Exceptional

Had a look. 3/4 of RtP are in Hacativz. Still going alright. Saw them once before and enjoyed it but albums never did much. Antimo is also in Castleumbra which people have been on about. Didn't do anything for me.
I am not even really big into Hacavitz but they were very good live. I just went to see Antimo playing because I love the first two Disgorge.
I must check out Reverence to Paroxysm. I think Antimo will be doing something soon with Gene from Angelcorpse.
One week to go for Limerick, whoop whoop
Looking forward to this now,WITTR are class live;plus Mortiferum are a huge bonus on the bill!

What would be the go to album for WITTR? I'm not familiar with them at all, so when I saw them at Damnation fest in 2022 they didn't make any impression on me really as it was meh to me.
Diadem of 12 Stars and Two Hunters were good back when. Haven't listened to them in years. Was at the last gig, I think, Aluk Todolo supported who were savage. Can't remember anything about WITTR.
I'd recommend Two Hunters as well, great album.

If you're going to the gig Tuesday they seem to be playing 3 tracks from Crypt of Ancestral Knowledge, and 2 from Two Hunters in what seems like a set of 8 tracks. They might be the ones to try?

Two Hunters is their best, followed by Celestial Lineage / Black Cascade / Diadem Of 12 Stars
They started losing me a bit with the last 2 albums, even though there is some great stuff in them
They just didn't hit me as much as the earlier stuff
Thanks a million folks

right? can't wait!
They play the same setlist in Europe (bar one song)
Mortiferum were great. Who the fuck is Gaerea and why are they ahead of Mortiferum? WITTR are ok but Mortiferum are so much better. I understand you need a recognised name for the headliner. Don't miss Mortiferum tomorrow in Dublin.
Mortiferum were unbelievable!,what a band!.Gaerea were total scutter, not for me at all,WITTR were excellent.Loved the stage set up;great vibe to go with their songs.
The gig was sublime for me, 10/10 for each of the 3 bands. :abbath:
Mortiferum, Tuesday night, 7.30 in Limerick - not a bother lad! Immense is all I need to say.
Gaerea have picked it up another notch since last time I saw them. Stage show was fantastic. I'd be more familiar with the first 2 records via bandcamp despite having the last 2 on LP or CD, but they were fantastic for me.
Gob smacked, seemed like Grace Jones meets Mgla at times, great stage show. Show was brilliant, and they levelled the place. Buddies thought different and I was well surprised to find them outside afterwards!
Wolves kicked ass. It was way more intimate and enjoyable than the time I caught them in Manchester. A nice surprise after 2 performances I'd have gladly paid for on their own. 👏👏
Many at it? Another week where choices had to be made. Seen Wolves a few times so have opted for Brujeria.
Not a bad crowd,it wasn't packed by any means, but definitely a healthy turnout.
WITTR were brilliant
My 3rd time seeing them, & this was their best
Mortiferum were great
Sound was brilliant for them
Gaerea aren't my cup of tea, but my God, that singer knows how to put on a show! Pure drama/theatre
Grace Jones would have learnt a bit from them
Yes enjoyed Wolves...very good live, tight as fuck. Gaerea not my cup of tea but were OK, missed first band unfortunately.
Setlist from Dolans spoiler alert
Beholden to clan
Twin mouthed spring
Vastness and sorrow
Thuja magus imperium
Cleansing
Crystal ammunition
Crown of stone
Queen of borrowed light
Great gig, enjoyed all 3 bands, Mortiferum the winners for me, crushing set. Baffles me though how some heads prefer watching the gig through their phones, just enjoy and be in the moment like...
