Title: New Thantifaxath
Post by: Vadge on April 12, 2023, 03:37:33 PM
Solar Witch (https://youtu.be/aNwRRmXnqrk) , from the upcoming Hive Mind Necrosis. Massively anticipating this one. One of the most important bands of the last while imo

So good, as everything they've released. Khanate meets King Crimson  :abbath:

fucking hell, great to see them back. This sounds mental, even for them.

I picked up Sacred White Noise from Invictus in a sale there recently, first time giving it a real listen since 2014/15. So, so good. Missed VMaM altogether too. New track sounds class. Buzzing for this.

Not into it. I remember hearing them back when the first album came out and people were getting excited by them and thinking they sounded alright but didn't get caught up in the buzz. Listening to that song I can hear why people like it, and there's stuff there that probably would have excited me some years ago but just kind of leaves me cold these days. "Interesting" warped time signatures are grand and all, and I can appreciate what they are doing but I think I've just become an even thicker cunt than I used to be, which might be hard for some to imagine, and all I really want is music which is simple and effective. But sure, they are doing something unique-ish I suppose and fair play to them.

Great band. Use to get to see them live twice a year and it was always great. Really nice guys as well. Void masquerading... was good but not as good as the full length. This preview track sounds insane can't to hear what the full album is like.

Just listened to Solar Witch there. That's a sort of wonky that I could get on board with

I must have listened to this four times through since yesterday.  It's lethal.

I've been giving this some proper attention and it's so so good. Now it could've been the erb' but around 1.50 into The Lost Kingdom of Wolves I can't unhear Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.

Listened to Solar Witch at the time and thought it was just *ok* but after a few more spins recently it has clicked a lot more and I'm liking it :abbath:

Back listening to the last album now as I am getting to see them live again next month. I forgot how great the last album was as I haven't listened to it in about year due to amount of stuff coming out. Surgical Utopian Love is right up there with Violently Expanding Nothing.
