Me and the good lady didn't buy for each other this year, rather concentrate just on the kids. However, my brother in law clearly knows what I like, decent bottle of wine, 4 pack of rather strong IPA and the hardback of The Lives of Brian.
Nothing metal related; never do get anything. Some nice stuff though, including a wine tasting session which should be fun.

Just to chip in, I bought a shitty rod and a few spinners last year to chance Pike after not fishing at all since my early 20s, and didn't use it even fuckin once. So I'd happily read a thread if one got going.
