Title: Pantheist

I fired on O Solitude the other day for the first time in God knows how long, having owned it for many years but never really being bothered with it. I think when it came out I was looking for stuff that was more EXTREME! I had it on in the car on the way to work this morning (cold, dark, wet... perfect) and became pleasantly absorbed in the experience. It has a unique atmosphere to it with all of the clean, choral style vocals. They may be a bit of an acquired taste to be polite about it, but I think they work once your ear adjusts.

O Solitude is the only album of theirs I own so I'll have to do a bit of delving into their back catalogue in the coming weeks to see what is worth picking up. I foresee a little funeral doom binge coming up with the first Wijlen Wij and The Nulll Collective albums as we crawl towards winter solstice down here.

Edit. A little google search tells me it was released on DLP last year.... hmmm.

Giving Amartia, the second album, a spin on YouTube and it sounds really good.
