Released today, on the fourth spin this morning, really loving it. Builds on Galdrum very well, slightly more varied but really just another collection of great atmospheric, old school fantasy themed bm but with loads of catchy riffs.

I can't wait for this to give this a go later.
Enjoying this on first listen.
Nice recommendation boozegeune. :abbath:
I meant to start a thread about this the other day, it's great stuff. And the Artwork is Incredible.

I listers to the first song the other day and it sounded good . Must give the full thing a go.
That artwork is class. This is really great stuff. Looks like some people are losing their shit over not being able to grab the LP. Van Records Facebook page mentions people sending them abuse and threats due to them pressing it in fairly low numbers. Fuck sake
Only listened to the first few tracks. Doesn't seem up to much. Big Dissection buzz going on, but cleaner. That synth tune is awful.
I prefer their ep. It was one of my favourite releases of 2020.

Tried to get the cd last night n was turning into such a expensive ordeal I just said fuck that n left it off...few spins on bandcamp it's quality alright
There's been huge buzz around this online for ages, it's a bit limp when it boils down to it. Can't see the fuss.
Same for me. Artwork is great, but the music itself is .... ok

Definitely, Anthems era Emperor too. I'm digging it personally.
I may also be tempted to send abuse to Van if they don't issue more copies on vinyl :P :abbath:
Played this a few times in work today and am definitely hooked. Finding it much more interesting than the EP. Definitely can hear the Summoning influence on the synth heavy tracks.
Ván will have represses in January apparently, with preorders in December. I did plenty of hunting around all the listed distros getting copies (most haven't got their copies yet) and finally had one in my cart on 20BS before getting a grip and left it. I'd be surprised if it isn't repressed two or three times over the next couple of years.
As for the music, really enjoying it, certainly following an archetype I could get used to. One of the tracks I thought has a definite Windir buzz, that characteristic arpeggio-ish riffing going on.
I was the same on 20BS, I happened to be online when they posted and had to remind myself that I'm not that into the album haha
Had a full first listen last night and really liked it. More than once it reminded me of wintersun though
I think it sounds great. I'm detecting influence from Arcturus, Borknagar and Vintersorg all over it which rather hits the spot for me these days.
LPs up on Vàn today.
Yes! Nice one man, order put in directly. They have Dark Romanticism LPs going cheap too, so threw one of those on the order with it.
Fuckin gone already  bastards.
It's already arrived and all! Tis a far cry from delivery times a year back!
Chrust, fair play to them. I skimped for the option that was 3e cheaper so still waiting.
20 Buck Spin say they will have some in stock before the month is out they've said. Shipping from US but the prices are usually OK, just take a looooooong time.
This is great

Might be worth checking Sentinel's website too, think I saw Scobes posting he'd got some in.
Grabbed one off Sentinel indeed. Couldn't bring myself to buy the CD version with that artwork.
I know I'm definitely in the minority but I just can't get into this one.
Ultimately finding too many interludes, samples etc breaking things up a bit and it's just a bit flabby. I miss the bite of the riffing from the previous EP.
I don't mind it. I can see they're trying to do a split down the middle dungeon synth and black metal thing. It's done well all the same.
Vocalist is the Blood Incantation/Wayfarer drummer I believe.
