Unreal band who I stupidly overlooked for about 10 years before getting into them. Early stuff was death metal but the later material is a mix of heavy, thrash and death metal. Not a million miles away from Ares Kingdom maybe, just with more melody.
Horror focused but the song structures and lyrics separate them from a lot of similarly themed bands.

Hell's Headbangers are reissuing Supernatural Addiction on LP with hopefully more to follow. A lot of the material is tricky enough to find.
Great band that improved as they went along.
Wrong imagery for the kvltists and too rough and underground to make it bigger despite the catchy heavy sound.
Must've been at least fifteen years since I listened to any of their releases bar their debut, which is one of the finest death metal albums ever released. I remember thinking Fearless Undead Machines and Supernatural Addiction lacked variety in a lot of their songs and the former in particular dragged on interminably. Not saying they didn't have their moments but the competition at the time was pretty stiff and the rest of their discography bypassed me. Might give another listen and see if the intervening years have altered my opinion.
Funny, I listened to a bit of 'Fearless Undead Machines' on YouTube the other night. I've never picked up anything by them but I might grab those reissues. It's easy more heavy metal than death metal (that album anyway). Quite Maidenesque in the riff department.
Yeah, heavy Maiden influence. 'The Silent Creature opening riff is more or less taken straight from a Maiden song but I'm too much of a casual fan/false to think of the track name.
King Fowley is an interesting guy as well. Tells some great stories on The Heavy Hole podcast.
Must give that a listen at some point, cheers.
Love this band. Fearless Undead Machines is one of the top 90s albums for me and everything since then has been fantastic too.
Supernatural Addiction would be the most digestible starting point for anyone and a good overview of their sound from Fearless onwards.
As The Weird Travel On is a favourite, overlooked that one for a few years before picking it back up and love it now. Surreal Overdose is a bit more of a Voivod-y take on their core sound, and more of a racket in general. The last one, Ghostly White is great too.
Absolutely fantastic band top to bottom.
Such a great band.
I really think 'Ghostly White' is a career best for them, and cool to see that so late in their career. Songwriting is just amazing, and they make some long-ish songs really fly by. I'd still reach for 'Surreal...' and 'Fearless...' pretty regularly.
New album out on now, Children of The Morgue. Shite cover art aside, it's deadly. Bit more vicious than Ghostly White, Kings vocals and drumming sound great.
Yeah, I've had it on myself, can't go wrong with a bit of Deceased, they do have a penchant for cover art that steps outside the box alright!
Great band, Fearless... is a savage record.

He turns up on the Venom episodes of Requiem Metal Podcast too. He's great craic.
He was the guest on Intothenecrosphere a couple of weeks ago.
He covers the whole story of the band.
King Fowley is the type of person I would love to just sit in a pub with all day drinking pints.
Tried Deceased many times but could never get into them. I have seen the new one getting praised and Lurk of the corpses is getting reissued soon. Must try them again.

Must give it a listen, although yer man Jackie can be a bit of a dose at times.
Going to pick this up. Great band .
Ghostly white was a great record.
Been listening to the new one a fair amount. VEry fuckin' good, as you'd expect from em at this stage.
'The Blueprints...' into 'Fearless...' into 'Supernatural...' is a really great run of albums. That's be their 'peak' time for me.
