Sick! I just got into black metal (and Mayhem) in the last couple of months, and was gutted that I didn't go to the last gig, where they played De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas in full.

I tried to buy tickets for this a week or two ago, but it wasn't letting me.

I got tickets in sound cellar today but they only have Dublin ones.

Yeah. Bumped into him after the gig and he was really worked up about it, it is probably worth a few quid. Most likely some idiot from the crowd took it thinking it would make a great souvenir. I hope he found or finds it. He came across as a really nice and friendly guy.

I'll never understand people who go to gigs and do shit like that... Saw a guy get kicked out of the mgla gig in Limerick as he was trying to hit  the lead singers guitar pedals on/off... Pointless and stupid move

So that was why they had a bouncer standing leaning up against the stage facing the crowd for the last few songs at the Mgla gig? I thought it was to stop all the people that had been moshing.

Probably a bit of that too. They were stopping moshing at the last siege. I heard there's a case where someone got injured in a mosh so their covering themselves. There's a special place in hell for people who bring litigation cases because they got hurt in a mosh.

Thought the sound was a bit iffy at the start; the guitars were a bit quiet in the mix. About half way through it started sounding good, then the final third was amazing.

Moshing in general to me is stupid especially for bands like Mgla but agreed if you get involved in it at a gig you need to live with the consequences.

The sound for the songs from the new album and Symbols of Bloodswords was awful. Symbols is full of blast beats which you couldn't hear at all. Great gig but pretty disappointing for me that they didn't play anything from the two best albums they released since DMDS, Ordo and Esoteric then instead they played a track from both Grand and Chimera.

The different looks they had for each era was a nice touch. They all looked like old school punks for the last few tracks. Attila always brings that 1984 jacket out at the end of each show.

Hah, I agree completely - I was being mild in my criticism before. I'm glad to know it wasn't just me and my ears!

The story I heard at the last siege was that some young wan got pushed into the pit, by her friend, fell and broke her leg and filed a lawsuit. Cuntish
