Soulseller have just announced a vinyl, CD and tape reissue of 'HEart of the Ages'. Quite a unique, epic and complex album so I think the vinyl version is a must seeing as I only have it on tape. A bit of merch with the album artwork wouldn't go astray either. I have only skimmed their later releases but they haven't grabbed me, possibly only for the fact that they don't sound like that album rather than not being my bag so I'll return to them and see if they click.

That Heart of the ages is an incredible album, Im glad I had heard it before the played in Charlies, Dublin 96. I always regretted not buying it on record a long time ago so now might be the time.
They are a completely different band nowadays with regards to lineup as Anders is the only remaining member . The last album was surprisingly good as it does sound like heart in places though and they are writing a new album currently.
Agree with the merch, I pestered some of those lads to release some shirts which they said they were thinking of doing pre covid, just hope it wont be with new art work as there is nothing wrong with the original.
I must give the last one a listen at some point.

Heart of the Ages is special though, gorgeous album.
Head was wrecked when they pulled out of Madrid is the Dark a few years ago, where Justin was stumbling around the city heroically drunk for the whole weekend.

Listened to Pure last night. That's my favourite one from them. Great vocals.
Double gatefold LP arrived today.
They did a fine job with the marble edition.
My copy has been dispatched so it might well be waiting in the in-laws' gaff when we get out of quarantine.

I got one from NWN so they are sold out from SS but there are copies floating about.

Giving the reissue a listen here now. Sounds great. My one gripe is that all of the lyrics and text are written so small that they are pretty much unreadable. I strained my eyeballs through the first song and gave up as I was getting cockeyed. The two bonus songs are from a 7" of theirs that I actually already have and had forgotten all about.
Talk about timing; my tshirt arrived just now. The fucking state of the print on it... it looks fairly ropey. I'll still happily wear it though.

The black HOTA didnt look great so opted for the white one.
I got the white one with the album artwork on the front and the band pic around the bonfire on the back. It looks a bit fucking demented but I'm still wearing it so... let me know how yours looks when it arrives.

Nice design, yeah. Hopefully it'll look decent in the flesh. Now, it might actually be that I've ended up with a dud and the rest of the Heart tshirts look amazing. But I doubt it :laugh:
I like they used the CD cover on the reissue. Suits this album much better
Yeah the artwork looks perfect on the LP. It's a shame they didn't use that exact layout for the tshirt design.

Soulseller have reissued Isle of Men so I think I'll fork out for the CD and LP this week. They printed a tshirt with an early logo design on it and behind the picture of the tshirt there's a really cool woodblock image of Thorr riding through the sky. But it's not on the actual tshirt! Bummer.

picked up their reissue of Written in Waters which was spot on
listened to the latest ITW 'Diversum' several times. it has its moments but nothing can get past HEart of the ages, it was just that good
Yup,I have several Soulseller reissues and they are beautifully done. Written in Waters is super. I wish they had printed up some tshirts with that artwork.
