Not sure if anyone has watched this but if you have 2 hours to spare there is a great interview with Nick Barker ex COF, Dimmu Borgir, Talks about setup and technique, label issues, COF and Dimmu.

Watched most of it , v good. Interesting to hear he was working as a tour manager in the last decade.

Barker is on the mount rushmore of  metal drummers. Love his style.

Yeah he seemed to vanish for a while,guess that explains why.
Good to hear he is open to doing some more old mans child stuff if he ever got the call.

Will be interesting to hear how the Remastered version of Puritanical comes out  and if they will make a balls of it seeing as they don like the  drum sound on the original release.

Why do they not like it? The production on Puritanical is perfect. Definitely the best Dimmu album for me and I hope they tour it on the back of the remaster.

They probably want a similar drum sound to later albums.
I think the drum mix is excellent and would leave well alone.

Nick mentions he had more hands on with that album, production wise for his kit sound than the Death cult one.
