Not really sci-fi, are they? I have to admit, I haven't spent much time with the lyrics.
Echo Artificial Brain and Cryptic Shift though; both performing at the absolute top of the current DM game.
Outside of the ones mentioned for some reason Origin - Informis Infinitis Inhumanitis comes to mind. Maybe the cover and the Dogma sample.
Void Ceremony and Cosmic Putrefaction also fit the sci-fi angle.
Wormed are topper if you don't mind the more brootal end of DM. Love pretty much all their stuff. The EP from 2019 is their most recent. Superb.
The Wakedead Gathering - 'The Gate and the Key' from a few years back is a cool album. Some spaceman frills and ribbons there as well.

There seems to be a lot of sci fi themed thrash bands for some reason.
Bumping this thread as I just got my hands on that last Cryptic Shift album.
It's lethal! Way beyond my expectations. Like a way more progressive Vector or Horrendous, but with some total almost Maudlin of the Well style oddness.
Have to hand it to them for them level of commitment to the theme in the booklet. Lads do be creating worlds - you love to see it.

I was going through my vinyl a while ago, and found their split with Wake from 2012 which I don't remember buying. I'll probably buy the new one, promptly forget I bought it, and write a post about it on this forum in 2038.
