Technically speaking the demo was never released back then because we hadn't a clue about how to get it pressed up. There were a few CDrs floating about but the tape version Fort Evil Fruit put out a few years ago is the first proper release it got.
I listened to it recently for the first time in years, actually. Good memories.

Was it yourself involved with that? Absolutely cracking band name. I think I used to have one of those cdr's, long since lost somewhere over the years, but was some decent stuff
Yep. It was me, Niall O'Reilly who went on to drum in Haieeta. Not sure if he is doing anything musical these days as I haven't seen him in a long time. Adam Brennan was on bass and backing vocals. He still plays bass and records his own stuff I think, but hasn't been in a band since then. Mark O'Connor came up with the name but wasn't on the recording as far as I remember. He went on to play in a band called, erm... the name escapes me... Brand New Weapon/ My New Weapon or something like that...
The songs were good for the time I think, but I'm not sure that is sounds so vital these days. At least, not to me but my own tastes have changed a lot since then. It was a step up for me in terms of the music I was playing (It was my first attempt at writing something a bit more extreme in style) and a good lesson in song writing dynamics.
Good memories from those days, though. Jamming in Niall's garage, slugging cans of Dutchie and making a racket!
Edit: My Secret Weapon!
Not New Secret Weapon, rather? Never knew there was a connection there. Good band:

Great demo. Veins of the Earth in particular is a ripper of a tune.
Yeah, Veins is decent. It tapers off a bit after that but it's a nice little document on a personal level.
