Me and a few lads recorded this last year and it's finally seeing the light of day now. A limited run of tapes will follow early next week if anyone is an analogue man! 3 songs of black death and doom influence, hope ye enjoy.

Savage stuff, will definitely pick up a tape.
There's a serious wave of creativity comming out of Cork lately. Fair play.
Very cool stuff there. Nice Below The Lights vibe so far.
Artwork is very similar to the new Armagedda. What's it from?
That's good shit, fair play! Only just getting to the end of track 1 and I'm sold :abbath:

Well spotted! Was made aware of this after being sent to print. The armagedda version is Erik danielsons manipulated version of this original wood carving called starvation.
Excellent stuff!
The first track is a whopper, but the other two are absolute monsters.
:abbath: :abbath: :abbath: :abbath:
great stuff Marc!
Wow, this is certainly the real fucking deal!
Yeah that was deadly stuff, must grab an auld tape there when ye have them going.
Had this on last night, thought it was great
Thank for checking it out and for the kind words. Tapes and a few t-shirts up for sale on the bandcamp now too if anyone is interested.

Purchased!!
Nabbed a tape. Not sure from the initial listen if it's my buzz but I'll give it the benefit of the doubt. Could grow on me.
yeah i grabbed one meself, more excuses to buy a tape deck that's not this shitty argos one
Tape ordered, looking forward to hearing this through the hifi.
Sent off as many orders as I could today so hopefully, some will be arriving early next week. thanks again for the interest
Order placed, and BC advised delivery on 20 September as Glanmire is so far from the city centre! 🤣

Ah glad you received it safe and sound. Sent off another batch yesterday should should all be arriving before the end of the week.
I got one from the batch sent yesterday so thanks a million.
The tape is indeed a thing of beauty! Don't think I've ever seen such an effort in producing a physical tape package with the outer sleeve, regular cover with different artwork and detailed cassette print. Does the music justice rather than making up for any shortcomings.
Seeing the line up initials confirms my suspicions about
the bang off track 3 from the 90 second mark :)
Class release all in all, nicely done.
And I love the bit of history on the tape body itself
Lyrics are very heartfelt tbf
Great release
Bualadh bos!
It's a quality package alright.
As said above... really compliments the music.

Ha, it's only now John that I realise this is your politically correct user name!! I thought it was someone's play on Jedward for some reason - I didn't make the link with your MI tag at all "boss"! 😂
The tape arrived today and it looks incredible. Fair play. Who made the painting on the inlay?

I do remember you mentioning that you regretted that username on the old forum John.
Tape arrived, as said great job with the presentation. The note on the tape itself was a cool touch.
Painting on the inlay is Gorta by Lilian Lucy Davidson

That painting is done by an Irish artists called Lillian Davidson from the late 1800's. I seen it in an famine exhibition in Skibbereen a few years back and was one of the main inspirations for the music.
Cool. Great piece indeed.

I might resurrect it ;D
Giving the tape it's first spin through my stereo and, fair fucks, it sounds massive. Very immersive production on that. Glad I grabbed a copy as it is making more sense to me now with the full whack of the production behind it.
Edit. Deadly wandering basslines happening at the minute. Reminiscent of VBE.
Like this a lot. Any plans to play live (when that's a thing again)?
The production is all thanks to Shauny Cads from Last Light Recording anyways, nailed the sound for us. Arthur Rizk (eternal champiuon) did bang up job on the mastering too. Yah we will play live when everything goes back to normal, looking forward to it actually! Wont over do it though as we all have other bands on the go.
The Grief, Corr Mhóna and Procession of Spectres would be a good evening's entertainment.

Throw in Soothsayer and Bodydrinkers as well, for the craic! :abbath: :abbath: :abbath:
The bass is savage throughout.

You could have about 8 bands on that bill and would only need around 10 musicians!
Cork seems to be back with a bang. Good to see.
Class stuff, must nab a tape.
Shite, I snoozed and lost on this one: the tapes are all sold out. Any plans for another run?
Said it here first, Fomorian Hate doing a very small run of this EP tomorrow. Will be it's own unique edition, exclusive from the first tape.
Tape re-issue is up now...

Sounds immense lads
Congrats!
Ordered, as well as a fine, snazzy shirt
I must throw in an order. Didn't see any shirts? Also, does anyone know what's happening with Fomorian Hate? They had a run of good stuff and nothing in a while.

At their own Bandcamp, the second link.
Thanks for the interest lads. Daithi who runs Fomorian Hate also did samples for this release and plays live with us on bass. I know he's a busy man, he's getting gigging with his own band Hasturian Vigil and filled in on bass for Sacrilegia on their recent dates abroad too... might just be easing off for a while!

Not to derail the thread but I am sitting on releases and a rebrand whenever I get the time. Just moved to east Cork and have band commitments.
This is great. Not that I ever doubted ye, mind.
Top stuff.
Just received our few copies of the ep on cassette today... They are up on our bandcamp now if anyone wants one!
Slapped in an order now. Looking forward to it.

cheers man, posted out a batch today
Got round to this today. Savage. Also a reason to revisit the last one, which is also (still) savage! Now, whack both EPs on either side of a vinyl.
Two releases are savage. And these lads are lethal live.
Whopper stuff. Looking forward to seeing ye in a couple of weeks
Fiadh Productions in the US have re-released our first EP if anyone missed it first time round. Picked up Sodb demo not too long off them.
Only thing is it works out about 20e with the shipping. Anyways link here if anyone wants one... https://fiadh.bandcamp.com/album/ep-mmxx
