Hey all,
Just if any of you dig or know of us. We have a new EP "Disenfranchised Fetus" due out on August 30th. Releasing the most accessible song of it "Somebody Needs A Hug" on July 30h. Spotify Pre Saves are pretty significant for a band at our level trying to progress, would appreciate anyone signing up for it.

If I liked the song I'd save it. Otherwise, I don't want it in my Spotify. So, I won't be listening to it which is a pity because I was going to.
Yeah no one is going to do that. Just post a link when it's out.
Ah its the initial boost and playlist we were looking to land. Need pre saves.
We have an album out on Spotify "Degenerate Art" if anyone's interested
But here's us

I like the Bass and Guitar on that.
Cheers man
I like that. Catchy and yeah, some people do need hugs :abbath:
I listened to 3 or 4 of these tunes the other day and there is something refreshing in the simplicity of the tunes. Bit of a Therapy? buzz here and there.

Cheers for the feedback and giving the tracks a chance man, at the time I wrote that first album I had no recording equipment or band and used a session drummer so the simplicity is a bit out of necessity because loads of it is just wrote on an acoustic and using my imagination to guess what everything else will do. But got the band, bought a mac for garageband and the other tracks on the EP are getting more diverse and not so much complicated, but less straight forward. Released that a single hoping to get it picked up by mainstream Irish Media, didn't work.
I've never actually listened to Theraphy? apart from one song and im kind of purposely avoiding them because we've had the comparison from literally everyone I don't want to dive in.
Yeah I enjoyed the few tunes I seen on the youtube page, I'll admit I was apprehensive based on the thumbnail of the 'Somebody Needs a Hug' video but I get the FNM/Melvin's wacky humour type thing you're going for.
I've listened to the hug track a few times and can't hear the Therapy vibe. What I can hear is a Rollins vibe bu not as angry! The singer who I presume is posting here looks a bit like John Spillane from afar which gave me the giggles.
Jaysus just googled John Spillane haha can see it a little bit if I squint. I am the "singer" bassist and guitarist, cant sing for shit so the Rollins spoken thing kinda made me go for it and try that approach myself, couldn't find a singer.

That's the only complaint I would have about the songs. The spoken word stuff sounds good but I would get tired of it if it was on every song tbh.
That song Too Tired To Sleep is really good as the vocals are mixed up between you and the bass player.
I like the wackiness as well 😛

If you're in any kind of noisy rock band in Ireland without friends in high places/a bag of money then, respectfully, you're slightly naive to think this would happen.
Cheers Blessed1, yeah I do worry about the vocal style becoming repetitive.
I hear you pentagrimes, but i'll keep trying. We have managed to get on national radio a few times. Keep trying to get John from MCD who is a punk head to take some interest in us
Here's our new video, bit of an ode to the Prodigy "Out Of Space" video way heavier then the last track I linked, think you's might enjoy it
