That Sulphurous album should be incredible. Everything they/he's done up to now has been killer and the sample tracks sound unreal, Killtown always delivers the goods.

Couple of interesting death metal bits on the horizon

New Corpsessed album out on Friday, "Impetus of Death"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=67c0Wt-T0jg

Noctambulist "Atmospheres of Desolation" LP - vaguely in that Gorguts/Portal/"avant" DM style I don't usually like but this sounds cool
https://bloodharvestrecords.bandcamp.com/album/atmospheres-of-desolation

Warp Chamber "Abdication of the Mind" demo -ffo Blood Incantation, Nucleus, Demilich
https://redefiningdarknessrecords.bandcamp.com/album/warp-chamber-abdication-of-the-mind

Kever "Primordial Offerings" - I've seen this compared to Morrisound bands but sounds more Swedish/Finnish to me. Ex Sonne Adam. On their bandcamp & spotify now, physical release apparently coming in the new year.
https://kever.bandcamp.com/

Fetid and Cerebral Rot lps coming out on 20 Buck Spin in the new year too, and it looks like Cadaver are recording a new album in January..curious about that as I love the demos & "Hallucinating Anxiety", have grown to quite like "In Pains" and thought that Cadaver Inc lp was a bag of shite.

On a local level curious to hear whatever it is Grief Eater (folks from Bacchus & Destriers) have just recorded , and the  Sacreiligia lp and Bacterium demo in the new year.

Hardly upcoming as it was only recently released. The new Sigh record is a tough one. It might grow on me after a bit.

Always liked the original Cruelty and The Beast.  Are they going to mix it up to be more symphonic like their later stuff?

Speaking of Cradle, Hecate Enthroned have a new one out in January. Don't know why I'm looking forward to it

I could never listen to them back in the day because they sounded like a sub standard version of COF. Now that COF don't sound like themselves anymore I have a bit more time for them.

I picked up Promethean Shores back in the day and liked it for being a cheap derivative of Cradle.

im not sure. i got the impression that its just a remix with no added parts. thats what im hoping for anyhow. if they go adding new stuff on it im not really going to have any interest in it. all they need to do is change the drum sound anyhow!

I would laugh if he did  a completely necro remix of it. Early Darkthrone style. Can't say as I have much interest in it but will still most likely check it out at some point. He has been trying to make nice with the metal end of things on the last few albums so who knows what it will sound like.

Yep the song is bland which is a shame,  i have a feeling the rest rest of the album will be the same.  Which is unfortunate because the previous one PT 1 was an enjoyable listen.

Giving the full length a listen one bandcamp now. Only on the third track and am finding this as dull as dishwater.
