There was a problem with spf/dkim settings which was causing emails to be rejected from some hosts. It should be fixed now if you want to try again.

There's a server error which is causing email problems. Thanks for letting me know. I'm looking into it now and will let you know when it's fixed.

Looks like youtube doesn't play nice with one of the referrer-policy headers I had set. I've changed it and it looks to be working now. Hopefully it'll also fix the issue with any other videos too.

Do you mean the occasional "Video unavailable" error, or it's not embedding at all?

You don't need to use the [youtube] tags to embed. You can just paste a link and the forum will automatically convert it to an embed when you submit the post. There's a limitation in the embed code where it doesn't process the link correctly if it ends with "?si=oSyo0IEAaCXsASCn" which happens if you grab the link via the "share" button on youtube. The "si" part of the link is some tracking thing which isn't actually needed. The workaround is to delete this part of the link before you post it.

eg:
Copied link:
https://youtu.be/zYMqbcQQUvI?si=oSyo0IEAaCXsASCn

Delete the ?si= part so your link looks like:
https://youtu.be/zYMqbcQQUvI

Post any links here which aren't working and I'll look into it to see what's going on.

Mobile embeds should now be working. Let me know of any issues, with size in particular.

There's currently a few bugs with the forum. I'll most likely have to stick the forum in maintenance mode for a few hours at some point over the weekend while I look into it. It'll hopefully fix the search results and youtube embeds.

Something seems to have broke with the plugin which handles embedding. I'll need to find some time to dig into it and see what's happened.

Not that I'm aware of. What's the problem? Anyone else having issues?

I've increased attachment size. Try it again and let me know if it needs to be bigger again.

There's been no changes recently to cause it. The server may have been overloaded. I just sent a test pm there now and it worked as expected. Are you still having problems?

Loop earplugs are currently 30% off on Amazon. Looks like the entire range is on sale but the Experience plugs are the only ones I've used and reccommend

A banner has been added to the top of the page. This is aimed to both help cover running costs for the site while also promoting something  relevant to the topic of the forum. Let me know if there's any display or usability issues with the placement.

I came across Loop Experience earplugs and I've been using them for about a year now for both gigs and band practice and I'm enjoying them a lot. They're comfortable to wear for long periods and I've found they don't muffle the sound as much as ER20s.

I wouldn't recommend ordering direct from their site though, as I had lots of issues with shipping and their support is fairly awful.

I saw D'addario dbuds recently. Anyone used them?
